Throughout the Caribbean he is often found near the runway and received a nomination for Caribbean Photographer of the Year. Recently he has spent time in the Amazon rainforest documenting a sustainability research project on a native tribe. He has photographed Queen Elizabeth II as well US President Barack Obama among hundreds of world leaders but equally enjoys working with local & international personalities in his iconic urban & personality driven photography.

The Judging Panel screened the 17 delegates in front of a live audience of approximately 300 members of public, a first for the local leg of the show. The Judging Panel was comprised as follows:

Ian Lee, National Director and Franchise Holder noted that it was always his intention to open up this segment of the show to the public and is elated to be able to do so in his second year as Director. He also noted that they were able to find ‘the best of the best’ after a national search including screenings in San Fernando, Port of Spain and Tobago, ending with the note that ‘the task of selecting 17 was difficult enough, selecting 8 for the final was even more so from this list of beautiful and talented women.’

The Final Show for Miss Trinidad and Tobago Universe takes place on 14 May, 2011 at the O2 Park, Chaguaramas venue (formerly known as MOBS2).
